The main staircase was excavated and cast. Natural stone walling was built up around the entrance.

Further work to blockwork around the east wall windows and the stone wall by the entrance.
Then we moved inside and prepared the floor area with plastic membrane and insulation sheets.
March 2006
Pipework for the underfloor heating was installed.
April 2006
The floor screed was laid to finished floor level. More landscaping and planting was done.
May 2006
Kerbing of the lower carpark was completed and external steelwork on the patio was cleaned, rustproofed and painted.
June 2006
Stone walling at the south entrance was built up and capped off. External walls were prepared for plastering and measured up for soffits and cladding. The east wall was finally closed up and buttressed. Work began on fitting the remaining hardwood window frames.
July 2006
Hardwood windows on the east side were installed and soffit boards fixed ready for rendering.
August 2006
Door linings and internal windows were made up from iroko and the TLC room underfloor heating was fitted.
September 2006
Bores for the geothermal underfloor heating system were drilled and the system was connected up and tested.
October 2006
Internal ceilings and first fix cabling started in readiness for plastering.
November 2006
We finished installing glass in the east-side wooden windows, and made ready for plastering.
December 2006
The plastering started and work continued on internal walls and fittings.
